Can I do my own wedding flowers?

The answer is yes! Our DIY wedding flowers option is perfect for couples who love our signature, fresh, English country garden style flowers, and have the desire, skills and time to design their own wedding flowers. If you are a little unsure about how to go about creating your own flowers, please don’t worry, we also offer private workshops to teach you the basics.

Tell us about your colour palette, if you have a specific wedding theme and the number of buckets you think you will need.(We can guide you on this if you let us know what you want to create) As a rough guide, a bucket would fill between 10 and 15 jam jars.

We will then type up your requirements and send you an invoice. A £50 booking fee is then payable which secures your date with us (this is deducted from the final balance) with the remaining balance due a month before the wedding date.

We will put together a beautiful selection of flowers and foliage in your chosen colour scheme, using the best flowers available the week of your wedding.

Only available between mid April and mid September, for pick up, a day or two before the wedding from our workshop in Burscough, Lancashire. We may be able to offer delivery on DIY flowers at an additional cost. Please note this option is not suitable for couples who want specific flower varieties or require a consultation.Just fill in the order form below and we will get back to you in a day or two with a quote.

Any specific concerns or requests? If you have a particular favourite flower, we will do our best to accommodate you, but our DIY flowers are purely seasonal and reflect what is in bloom at the time of your wedding.

Booking fee and payment

In order to reserve your wedding date, please do a bank transfer of £50 as a non-refundable booking fee, along with the e-signed contract. (The balance is due a month before your event.)

Changes

Additional small changes can be made up to a month before your event. Requested changes must be emailed to alison@theflowerfarmflorist.co.uk with your name and wedding date in the subject line. Please note we cannot reduce DIY flowers orders once the contract has been submitted.

Substitutions

As our flowers are greatly dependant on the British weather we cannot guarantee the availability of any specific varieties. We will try our upmost to meet your requests but it is not guaranteed.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than a month before your event date will receive a refund on any monies paid, less the booking fee. Once the balance has been paid, no refunds can be made. However if it is more than a week from the collection date, we will work with you to change the date if required.
